Each plus is an R8i module remanufactured with newer versions of the major components — longer time between failures, easier service, and full mechanical compatibility with existing ACS800 systems.

  • Thermal performance. Runs more than 5 °C cooler than the OEM module at equivalent load.
  • Durability. Short-circuit events are far less likely to cause permanent IGBT damage.
  • Compatibility. Drop-in for the standard R8i 690 V chassis, on existing ACS800 firmware.

Before you order

The original R8i dv/dt filter is compatible. Temperature rise curves differ from the original, so although a plus can function in parallel with an original R8i, running the two together is not recommended.
